Everything a power project needs, from one organisation
Five capability areas and 28 service and product lines — from the first feasibility study to the annual maintenance contract twenty years later.
Quick answer
Enersys Engineers operates across five areas: consultancy, EPC, statutory approvals, manufacturing and operations. A single project can run from pre-feasibility and DPR, through DISCOM, STU and load despatch approvals, into turnkey construction with the panels built in our own shop, then testing, commissioning and a long-term O&M contract. Each area is also available on its own.
Consultancy
Owner-side and lender-side advisory: feasibility, detailed project reports, system studies, engineering support and power trading.
Power plant consultancy
The independent technical voice on the owner’s side of the table — from the first site visit to the performance guarantee test.
Solar consultancy
Modules are the visible part and the smallest share of the risk. Yield, evacuation and availability are where a solar business case is won or lost.
Pre-feasibility studies & Detailed Project Reports
The document capital is committed against. It should survive hostile review by a lender’s technical advisor.
Client-side engineering support
Most owners do not carry the engineering headcount a capital project needs for eighteen months. This is that team, for exactly as long as the project runs.
Energy design & system studies
The analytical work that decides whether a plant runs smoothly or trips on its own faults.
Power trading & open access advisory
Open access is only worth doing once the surcharges are counted. We do that arithmetic before you apply, not after.
Energy audit & energy management
Most industrial plants pay for power twice — once in units consumed, and again in demand charges, penalties and losses nobody has measured.
EPC
Turnkey engineering, procurement and construction for thermal plants, transmission lines, EHV substations and solar power plants.
Turnkey EPC services
One contract, one programme, one party answerable when the line has to be charged on the date it was promised.
Thermal power plant electrical EPC
From generator terminals to the evacuation bay, and every auxiliary board that has to stay live in between.
Transmission line EPC
Six trades in sequence, each dependent on the one before it. This is the work behind the kilometre figure.
EHV substation EPC
A substation is a sequence of devices that must coordinate exactly. Get the ratings or the grading wrong and one fault takes the whole station out.
Solar power plant EPC
Most solar contractors stop at the inverter. We build the switchyard, the bay extension and the line that carries the power away.
Statutory approvals & liaisoning
DISCOM, STU, CTU and load despatch centre approvals — obtained in parallel with construction, not after it.
Statutory approvals & liaisoning
Approvals do not delay projects. Approvals started late delay projects. We run them alongside construction, not after it.
Electrical inspectorate (CEIG) approval
The approval that stands between a completed installation and a live one. It is refused for detail, not for principle.
DISCOM approval & connection
The distribution licensee decides your supply voltage, your metering arrangement and your connection date. Those are engineering questions before they are administrative ones.
STU approval & intra-state connectivity
Bay availability, not plant construction, is usually the binding constraint on when a project can be energised.
CTU approval & inter-state connectivity
Inter-state access is a different regime from a state connection — longer lead times, formal milestones and bank guarantees that are actually called.
SLDC, RLDC & NLDC registration and scheduling
Registration is a one-off. Scheduling and deviation settlement are for the life of the asset — and they carry real money.
Manufacturing
Electrical and automation panels built in our own shop to the protection scheme our engineers drew.
Electrical & automation panel manufacturing
Built by the team that drew the protection scheme and ran the fault study — so the specified rating is the installed rating.
PCC — Power Control Centre panels
The board everything else hangs off. Its short-circuit withstand is the number that matters, not its rated current.
PMCC — Power & Motor Control Centre panels
One lineup that both feeds and controls the plant. Draw-out construction is what lets you change a starter without shutting the section down.
HT & LT metering cubicles
The instrument the bill is settled on. Build it before the licensee approves the scheme and you will build it twice.
BMK — Bulk Metering Kiosks
The metering point when there is no switchroom to put it in. Everything a metering cubicle needs, plus a monsoon.
Relay & metering panels
The panel and the grading study come from the same team, so the settings that were calculated are the settings that get applied.
SCADA & automation panels
The panel that makes the installation visible — to the operator, and to the load despatch centre that requires the data.
Operations & testing
Testing, commissioning, power system automation and long-term operation and maintenance contracts.
O&M services
Commissioning is the beginning of the asset’s life, not the end of the project. Availability is what pays for it.
Testing & commissioning
The point at which an installation becomes an asset. Everything that was assumed during design gets checked here.
Power system automation
Primary equipment decides what the system can do. Automation decides whether anyone knows what it is doing.

What does Enersys Engineers offer?
Enersys Engineers operates across five areas: consultancy (power and solar advisory, feasibility and DPR, owner’s engineer, system studies, power trading), EPC (thermal electrical, transmission lines to 400 kV, EHV substations, solar plants), statutory approvals (electrical inspectorate, DISCOM, STU, CTU, SLDC, RLDC and NLDC), manufacturing (PCC, PMCC, relay and metering panels, SCADA panels and HT metering cubicles), and operations (testing and commissioning, power system automation, and O&M).
Can Enersys take a project from concept to operation?
Yes. A single project can run from pre-feasibility and DPR, through statutory approvals and turnkey EPC, into panels manufactured in our own shop, then testing, commissioning and a long-term O&M contract — under one organisation rather than six.
Are consultancy and EPC available separately?
Yes, and they are frequently taken separately. Where Enersys bids the EPC scope on a project we do not also take the owner’s engineer or lender’s engineer role on it, because the independence of those roles depends on the separation.
Do you supply panels to customers who are not EPC clients?
Yes. PCC, PMCC, relay and metering, SCADA and HT metering cubicles are supplied as standalone products against the customer’s single-line diagram and protection scheme.
Which part of the project do you need covered?
Tell us the scope and we will tell you honestly whether it is one service line or all five.
