Turnkey EPC services
One contract, one programme, one party answerable when the line has to be charged on the date it was promised.
EPC · In short
EPC means engineering, procurement and construction delivered under a single contract, with one party accountable for a working asset rather than for a set of parts. Enersys Engineers takes turnkey EPC responsibility for thermal power plant electrical works, transmission lines up to 400 kV, EHV substations up to 220 kV, solar power plants, and industrial power distribution systems — including design, supply, civil works, erection, testing, commissioning and post-commissioning maintenance.
What we take turnkey
The EPC sequence
Every Enersys EPC project follows the same six stages. Because each is executed by the same organisation, information is not lost at the handover between them — which is where most programme slippage actually originates.
- Survey and investigation — route walk, soil investigation, load assessment
- Design and studies — SLDs, protection philosophy, earthing, fault MVA and relay coordination
- Statutory liaisoning — inspectorate, DISCOM, STU and load despatch approvals in parallel with construction
- Manufacture and procurement — panels from our own shop; towers, hardware and switchgear to specification
- Construction — foundations, erection, stringing, cabling, switchyard and civil works
- Testing, commissioning and handover, followed by AMC
Why single-point matters on a power project
On a split-package contract, the designer blames the manufacturer, the manufacturer blames the erector, and the owner arbitrates. Each interface is a place where responsibility can be disowned and the programme can slip.
Enersys carries design, engineering, manufacturing, execution, commissioning and AMC in-house, so those interfaces are internal. That is also why a fault study finding can change a panel design in the same week rather than becoming a contractual variation.
Track record
- Over 250 km of transmission line built for utilities in India
- Odisha’s first 132 kV double-circuit monopole line — designed, executed and commissioned
- 132/11 kV, 2 × 25 MVA and 220/33 kV, 2 × 37.5 MVA substations — design, engineering and PMC
- Thermal plant electrical projects from 2 × 12 MW to 40 MW captive
- 13 MW solar plant with one of India’s first TOPCon panel installations
- DRI plant electrical works at 350 TPD and 500 TPD
Frequently asked
What is included in a turnkey EPC contract with Enersys?
Design and detailed engineering, all system studies, supply of equipment and materials, civil and structural works, erection, cabling, testing, commissioning, statutory liaisoning and handover documentation — with a single point of contractual responsibility for the working asset.
Do you bid EPC and consultancy on the same project?
No. Where Enersys bids the EPC scope, we do not also take the owner’s engineer or lender’s engineer role on that project. The independence of those roles depends on it.
What is the largest voltage Enersys can execute?
400 kV for transmission lines, with the company qualified and ready for 765 kV projects. Substation work has been delivered up to 220 kV, with qualification extending to 400 kV and 765 kV substation packages.

Thermal power plant electrical EPC
From generator terminals to the evacuation bay, and every auxiliary board that has to stay live in between.

Most solar contractors stop at the inverter. We build the switchyard, the bay extension and the line that carries the power away.

Six trades in sequence, each dependent on the one before it. This is the work behind the kilometre figure.
Read more →EPCEHV substation EPC
A substation is a sequence of devices that must coordinate exactly. Get the ratings or the grading wrong and one fault takes the whole station out.
